This body soap is certified organic and is made in Norfolk by Austin Austin. The company is a joint venture between a father and daughter. Richard Austin has long been involved in the organic movement and is the founder of Rainbow Wholefoods and Kingfisher Natural Toothpaste.
All of their products are tested only on humans and are vegan. Their credentials don’t stop there, the boxes are made from FSC managed forests and the bottles are made from 100% recycled material and can be further recycled.
The ingredients list on the side of the box tells you exactly why that ingredient is in the product and its source, eg. Glycerin (Haranja oil, Moisturising), Cedrus atlantica oil (Cedarwood, scent).
This soap is 71.2% organic and 98.4% of natural origin.
And . . . . the product is lovely. This soap is suitable for all skin types and is made for men and women. It is made with betaine to soothe, moisturise and protect and has top notes of orange and grapefruit, middle notes of neroli and cardamom and base notes of petitgrain and cedarwood.
The packaging is designed with artwork by Christian Newby.
